Something new!
I hotglued the “bezels” to my frp contraption and testfitted the gauges.
This is how it is supposed to look from the drivers side:
The “bezels” have slightly different angles.
Now I just need to wrap the thing with old t-shirts and glass fiber mat 😀
Yep, never going to use brown packing tape again. I’m going to sand the center console anyways… I ordered some heavy duty neodymium magnets (with 1kg pulling force) for the gauge pod, so I can take it off whenever I need to. And I already have the bezel thingy covered with cloth and resin but I think I’m going to redo it. I didnt have camera with me yesterday so no pics (and I was covered in resin when I stopped :D)
Looking good dude! Is that residue on the console from that nasty brown box tape? God that stuff’s a bitch to get off!
