I saw a picture of Work VS-XX’s with black bolts going around the wheel, and I started to wonder if I should get black bolts too. I asked the bolt measures directly from SSR/Tanabe USA (My japanese is bit limited, sumimasen) and I didn’t get any answer. Are they unable or unwilling to answer? What kind of service is that? Morons! Take one bolt off and measure it yourself:
Someone handed me a video camera, which can shoot slo-mo!
While removing the side skirts, I noticed something under the front fender:
I undid some bolts:
And woo hoo, everything since 1988 is composted here!
No rust though, which is a good thing:

Mike asked me some time ago about the thermostat housing: I can’t remember where I found the first picture, but if someone is offended about this, write me and I’ll remove it. Mine is under the intercooler, so I got this bad picture of the housing. Thermostat housing in AW11 is located on the gearbox. You need to open two bolts from the front side of the housing to get the thermostat out. When you’re refilling the coolant, remember to open the bleeder to release the trapped air from the front side of the thermostat. Afterwards, remember to close that valve.
