Here is the ATS LSD. We had to stop here, because both of us missed the small text at the ATS homepage, which said that you need a speedo gear and some parts from SW20 LSD and new bolts for the diff gear.
Bearings and model numbers
Anyone has the Toyota part number or any other number for those bearings? Especially the one with the wide race??

That looks awfully lot like a stock E-series diff – like you said – the one I had. I’m sorry, thats all I can say.
Thanks very much for the response, agreed. I’m an SW guy so this was a bit foreign to me 🙂 The stock e51 are all non-LSD, correct?
Yeah, stock E51 is always non-LSD.
Btw, I found some interesting stuff about the E51 and E153. The very last models of AW11 supercharged shared the same open diff with early SW20 turbos. Also, the front wheel version of E51, the E58 from AE92 did have a helical LSD option. Only difference between E51 and E58 was the gear selector which is on the other side of the gearbox. That helical LSD *should* drop right in both E51 and E153 – though im not 100% about that 🙂
that makes sense – i believe it’s similar the e153 from the st185 into the mr2.. I actually have a TRD LSD for my SW but somehow ended up with that extra diff that i’m looking to identify to sell or at this point mostly give away 🙂
Yeah, it should be similar, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was exactly the same. My open diff is most likely sitting in the same box where my LSD came. 😀
Some of that info is wrong above. The E58 is NOT the FWD version of the E51 (but as you said, it is a FWD box). So there are wide gear E series boxes (E51 aw11sc, E153 mr2T, E154F 4WD ST205 etc + many more) and then there are ‘narrow gear’ E series boxes of which the E58 is one. Narrow boxes work better than early wide series boxes as the synchros have less intertia to work against when changing gears and are still fairly tough. Now that’s some proper info! E58 indeed has narrower gears. E52 from old V6 Camry has wider gears like E51.
My mixup between E51 and E58 comes from The fact that they both came with supercharged engines – and you cam fit both The same aftermarket clutches and LSDs.
A past aquiantance of mine had a racing AW11 with E58, but I cant remember how he had done the gear selector – or which axles he used. If his web page is still up, I’ll let you know.

Do you propably have the blue speedo gear drive?The bottles of the old diff were shorter than the new diff?
