After cutting the back plate, it got a lick of primer and two coats of 2K paint. 2K paint was way more glossy than I thought 🙂

Below: tensioer fits perfectly.
The block painted with similar 2K paint, this time aluminium silver. When it dries up, it should be resistant to most chemicals and abrasion.
